Biography:
My name is Uxía Nogueira Recalde and I studied Pharmacy Degree and Master Degree in Research and Development of New Drugs at the Santiago de Compostela University. Currently, I am a PhD Student in the Cartilage Biology Unit, belong to Rheumatology Research Group at the Institute of Biomedical Research of A Coruña (INIBIC). My long-term goal is to advance my career in academic research focusing on molecular and cellular biology to understand fundamental mechanisms in cartilage homeostasis and pathogenic changes in osteoarthritis (OA), leading to the development of novel and effective therapies.
